TBH the whole terminal isnt fit for purpose, they have just bolted bits to it over the years, and neither pier is on a split level so the way they have split off arriving from departing passengers is a mess, sooner they knock it down the better. I did think knocking down most of the terminal (only keeping the pier where gates 20-32 are located) and having the current T2 as the "main" terminal was part of the overall plan eventually.
