Waldo
I just had dental surgery. Dentist had me swilling salt water during my recovery. What are the benefits of this? I kinda like it; feels like I’ve just been in the sea. What are the health benefits, if any, of keeping the practice going?

Salt solutions have antiseptic and antibacterial and anti plaque properties according to some- it won't do any harm. That's awesome, thanks Annie. Tempted to keep going with it; can't hurt, and I strangely like the salty taste. It's just been one teaspoon in a mug of hot water kinda thing, then rinse and spit. Few times a day can't hurt?
spilldig
All his life my dad never had toothpaste. He just sprinckled a bit of salt on his toothbrush and used that. He passed away at the age of 84 with all his teeth intact.

My parents were quite hard up when I was a kid and so we used salt instead of toothpaste. I still have my own teeth too. HeHasRisen
I wouldnt put salt in your mouth. In a few years time (maybe three years, but it could be six), its likely all salt in the world will be mined by the Jewish lizards and the Rothschilds, they will put microchips in the salt and everyone will swallow these microchips and they will be controlled by Bill Gates. I mean, dont shoot the messenger, the above is a hypothetical situation that "could" happen.... Edited October 17, 2022 by HeHasRisen
