jim lyon
Hi, I've got a "Pulsar" self- winding watch that seems in need of a service, in that it stops overnight when I'm sleeping & even during day, time is starting to run slow. Can anyone recommend a "value for money" watch maker - jeweler where I can get that done. I live in Shiregreen S5, & the local buses are #'s 75/76/88. So anywhere between there & city centre would be most convenient. - T.I.A. Cheers, Jim
Mister M
I have a Pulsar wrist watch that I got serviced down at Atkinsons a good few years ago. I can't remember the price, don't think it was anything out of the ordinary, but my watch still ticks.
jim lyon
Hi, Thanks for the interest about the Pulsar, self winding watch Would you be good enough to give me some more details as to how to locate Atkinson's? Also, some idea of what your service cost you would also help. Cheers, Jim

harvey19
Have you tried fully winding it up manually ? This is sometimes necessary to fully wind the spring and the self winding mechanism keeps it topped up.
butlers
Timpsons do watch repairs too. They are just up from the hole in the road.. For key cutting always found them pricy , so I would try other places beforehand
