bassett one
the problem is we have to use one company and like other citys we cannot put it out to tender due to funfair rights ,i am not against these ancient rights that funfairs have , but it does mean you have little say in what goes on,its possibly same in other towns as well, but why dont we do a indoor area as well ,like many others?why not use some of the empty stalls in the market? why not put a bar and a small funfair ride in the market? why not do huge marqees for traders? theres lots of other ideas, why not ask the public, also i noted many stalls changing hands early /mid dec what happens if theres a fault in your goods? as they were xmas presents? HeHasRisen
A small funfair ride in the market 🤣🤣🤣🤣 where abouts? As for your last sentence, well thats the risk you take buying from any market stall in the land now, isnt it? bassett one
theres lots of space at the far end ,but the stalls could be filled up with xmas stalls and bring in some income ,which would help
HeHasRisen
Lots of space? There really isnt. In any case what benefit would shoving one funfair ride away from all the othets bring?
bassett one
they had one in barnsley market for over 100 years and re-stalls theres loads of empty ones that could be used, but maybe the funfair people who run the xmas market stalls and funfair would object to both ideas . Cody's Granddad
Crikey mate, I see where you're coming from. Then there is overpriced parking or if you get the bus pray that it turns up. Manchester and Birmingham are my favourites, only ever visit them on organised trips which is rare these days.
