Aldi’s problem is that it doesn’t stock some items that then leads you elsewhere, and before you ask one of them is disinfectant.

lack of range is their strength

people keep bringing this point up .. but you don't have to go to the same shop every week, disinfectant lasts ages

Aldi was the only place I could find Grapefruit juice but they never have any now, I can't find any in the other shops.

BTW, there is already an eight page+ thread whinging about Sheffield Christmas Market. Can a mod combine them. It's only going to be exactly the same arguments round and round after all.  Seems to me you can type in any UK city followed by the words" Xmas market" and get some local rag, facebook group or discussion forum filled with identical whinging, complaining and screaming rip off despite the fact they nearly all seem to be packed out every weekendhttps://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/topic/480660-xmas-market-ect-moves-to-the-moorwhat-do-you-think/page/8/#comments

Yep, the market is a rip-off going by the prices reported. We are all supposed to be struggling but if the market shoppers are happy to pay those prices, then not so much.

Same as the pubs/clubs in town, bet they are bursting at the weekends; wonder how much they spend on a night out? £20?

what about a survey of what the public want?  skipton is always busy so why not copy them or what i do with the festival pick out the best from the best and put that together and create a huge event, say a full victorian themed area inc funfair old type inc stalls, funfair say 10 top class rides and a skipton type market and then a few stages one old time one modern ,full 14 days of christmas and a big new year party as well, plus a big carpark for visitors by coach, plus a big indoor area.
