Hmmm...

How about replacing a few members of SCC?

That would solve MOST of the problems!

You are aware a building like this would likely take years to split into two and then refurbish the old office bit into housing, by which point the "£150 a night" thing might not even be a thing anymore?

Surely the refurb could be paid for by a Lottery grant - that seems to be B1s answer to everything at the moment

with the former man power building being changed to flats and opened up to london road what are peoples thoughts at all these thousands of folk now being brought to live in the city centre and the shalesmoor area?

Has this been reported somewhere? I didn't think a decision had been made yet.

not on this occasion as the goverment will pay or plenty of private investers will sort it,but i do believe sheffield dont get a fair share from the lottery pot at the side of other cities its a pity as we must gamble as much as most other places

Define "a few years ago", its been full of Council staff for about 10 years now.

Time flies maybe 2012 ish when the Civil Servants moved out and into new premises at St Pauls, it was empty until the council moved in so they were discussions then whether to make it into flats or demolish as the refurb turned outto be more expensive than demolishing and starting from scratch
