Actor Leslie Philips has died

R.I.P.   aged 98 years

 

One of the longest careers.

That's a shame, I liked him. He made a career out of playing the one character but did it with great charm.

He was the hat in Harry Potter drawing the names for the school  houses..

 

I think he also had a way of saying 'Well Hello'

His career was a lot more varied than that. Whilst he's best known for playing that one character, that's down to those films being repeated so much on TV.

A great innings he had, used to love watching him in the "Doctor" films as a youngster.
