You need to cash in on the DIS-loyalty bonus. With anything like insurance or broadband; if you're not changing as soon as your contract is up, you're getting shafted.

For the last three years they have quoted more than the previous  year and every time I have contacted them and said, my premium has gone up, why is that when it  should have come down in price because I should have another years no-claims bonus?                                                                                                                                                                                   Every time they have dropped the price.

I have phoned them and they dropped my price by £25-00. No thanks, so I have insured with another one for £460-00 with the same amount of cover.

If you are under 70 and not drive too many miles you could look at By Miles. They have a standard setup fee of £200 and then you pay a fee per mile. My fee is 3.5p per mile up to the 150 miles cost cap per day. I like it as it includes a tracking app obviously so you can see the costs, start and stop places.
