Corporate Rainbow/Green/Whatever Washing

Who falls for this corporate crap? Rainbow armbands proudly worn on the pitch by footballers.  Until they're threatened with being sent off and then it's 'oops, sorry kids, the money's more important'.  David Beckham, LGBT champion, raking in those millions in Qatar.   Harry Kane: 'but we want to wear them! Wah!'  Not as much as you want that lovely cash and the meaningless shiny cup though, eh?

Meanwhile, women protesting in Iran are being arrested and murdered and are still standing their ground.

Same for those who championed women's rights when it was the done thing for lefty celebs like Billy Bragg, but who are now telling those women, the feminist women at the protests they supported in the 80s, to shut up and have a seat, because that's the new shiny thing on Twitter.

Cowards and hypocrites.

Some footballers are brave and speak truth. Iranian captain, Ehsan Hajsafi, gave an exceptional interview. Incredibly brave, much braver than playing the Hokey Cokey with a rainbow armband.

The Iranian team (reportedly) refrained from singing their national anthem on the pitch, as well.

They are continuing the protest by refusing to play and letting three goals in during the first half, heartwarming stuff.

When Big Oil embraces the green movement, in order to get a pass from the gullible, which makes them feel good about filling up their petrol tanks, and the "green" celebs likewise get a pass from society, to continue their "looting of the Earth's resources", with their private jet planes, multi mansions and hotel sized yachts, you may very well suspect "something is rotten in the state Denmark" -Marcellus, in Shakespear's Hamlet!  :)

Everybody gets it in the neck here. The green agenda, the vaccines, Joe Biden, Bill Gates, migrants, Cerco, Jeremy Hunt, the Tories, Labour. Nothing and nobody escapes the wrath of our archeologist friend, lol.
