With now only 9 days to go to the great 'Baubles Christmas Extravaganza', some members of the group are becoming a bit alarmed that they've been booked into 'the cheapest establishment around'! As previous winners of the Sheffield Forum's Got Talent Christmas Logo Competition (2 years on the bounce) they expected to appear in a slightly more upmarket venue than Padders Bar would appear to be. Nonetheless, they will still fulfill their duties in entertaining the Sheffield Forum members and their guests at Padders Bar starting on Thursday 1st December at 8:00pm with the traditional Bauble welcome of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas"! Depending on audience reaction, their matinee performance of "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" on Saturday 3rd December at 2:00pm may be moved to the more luxurious setting of the INN-U-ENDO Pleasure Palace! And we can now confirm that (subject to a few Christmas trees learning a new dance routine in time) the 'Grand Finale' of "Jingle Bells" will take place on Sunday 4th December at 8:00pm (venue still to be confirmed). Thank You!
BigAl1
Unfortunately retailers are all too expert at exploiting poor consumer legislation. A well know electrical retailer for instance have for years operated a system of pricing something at an artificially high price in some backwater store for a few days so they can claim it is reduced by £100 or whatever another well know retailer that owns the manufacturer and sets a manufacturers recommended price and yet never charges that price and the products are on permanent "sale" with supposed savings of some 50%
