Strike Action

It has just been announced that the U.K. is not in recession by the narrowest of margins, this is because of a period of 0.00% inflation. I’m sure that some on this forum will question this, perhaps they could supply their statistics and where they come from.

Below are the ONS' and the FT's  inflation trackers:

CPIH ANNUAL RATE 00: ALL ITEMS 2015=100 - Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk)

Global inflation tracker: see how your country compares on rising prices | Financial Times (ft.com)

Where was this announcement from?

(edit: if it was this (UK economy shows zero Q4 growth, narrowly avoids recession | Reuters) then it's because of zero growth (i.e. not negative growth) in Q4, not zero inflation). 🙂

Just seen this headline from the Telegraph....

"RMT is seeking to bring down capitalism with rail strikes, leak reveals"

Now isn't that surprising, all part of a Union plot and something I have alluded to here already.

You should be more worried about what the Tories aim to do.
