Inflation is falling and there are 2 different figures for inflation anyway so they are not  "DEMANDING"  19%.

They did offer to call the strike off if the government would talk.   The governments talk was " we are not going above what we said".

Just own up  - you don't want to give them anything.

I would be happy to give them 5% above true inflation.
