He means The Royal Oak Slinny  , Eric Whittington was the Landlord . Frank his son rode a bike with us , He now lives in Canada.

Some smart lads and lasses went  in there , no juke box,but music , think played  on record player , what about Milton our gang hut ,

The best pub ever ,   Our pub !! we. took it over when no one else was using it , 

The landlord Lorrie tolerated us ,he knew we were  mostly under age , The cops never came in for some reason , perhaps they thought leave em there they are off the Streets .

The. record player was on the living quarters landing  up the open plan stairs in the Royal Oak ,  In fact it was a radiogram .

Customers could go up stairs and put on their own records .
