What is your solution to this strike?

not a big fan of blackmail or agitators.

Imo in a high inflation environment, there should be a public sector pay cap with no negotiation, around 4-5%

start giving people 10%, it makes inflation worse, and affects everyone.

Didn’t have you down as a lefty, rather unsurprisingly.

there's a hole in the roof, so rather than fix it, we are going to make it worse by removing more tiles is one of the more bizarre logical constructs around.

Well, if there’s a hole in the roof as you say, then you’d have to wonder why the government is wasting time charging legislative windmills to stop what tiles are left from continuing to fall or break…

…rather than exercising a little preventative roof maintenance for 12 years, and accessorily planning how to get new tiles.

Are you a bit new at this logic thing?

If it's a matter of life and death they should bring the army in,  re the nurses striking for 19% - is that percentage aiming high,  there could be a compromise surely.

The armed forces hospitals have been closed so reducing the forces medical staff.

The armed forces as a whole have been reduced massively including the medial services.

Private sector pay up by 7.2% in the three months to November. Public sector pay up by 3.3%.

That’s one reason why we have so many strikes.

Easy to solve too.

I don't expect logical thought from the left.

That's a rather haughty statement from someone not 2 weeks ago was caught out posting under another user name, then when challenged admitted it.

Perhaps rather than getting your claws out to other genuine contributors, you should show a bit of humility, and a willingness to debate the issues, rather than going for your usual venom spitting.
