Dec 1, 2022 — The government and legal profession are at loggerheads over what or who is to blame for a “crisis” in the UK criminal justice system.

Clearly then, your claim that "judges, lawyers, and a big chunk of the social services business" would be looking for work...

Is there ANYTHING that actually works in your welfare paradise?  :)

Laughable.

A.. L00b doesn't live in the UK :?

B.. These are the inevitable result of policies from a government that, if you lived here and as your posts make clear, you would be championing!

Electrician lad, in a Merc?

I have some sympathy for him, the sentencing was very disproportionate to the offence (IMHO), and likely far more life changing for him, than for the 2 serial criminal kids whom he put in the hospital…

…but what on earth possessed him to set off after them in the first place (as I recall, they legged it with nothing when he disturbed them), and to drive so recklessly as to collide with them?

What possessed him? Probably just anger and adrenaline. But even one of the detectives who questioned him said they'd have probably done the same.

What they don't touch on in the show is has this happened to him before? We know that, often, the police won't do anything because it's so difficult to prove who the perps are.

Can't remember if it was his van one of them went into, but someone interviewed on the show explains that he's had his van broken into 6 or 7 times... people probably think what's the point in phoning the police?

Well, it was life changing for him because he ended up in prison; his wife was pregnant and they agreed to an abortion because they calculated that they couldn't afford the child whilst he was inside and, in the end, they had to move away from the area.

Meanwhile, the scrotes who set all this off got less than a slap on the wrist, despite them being career criminals.
