A bit scratchy from Wednesday again today, once more sat way too deep for long periods leaving the forwards isolated and giving Fleetwood space and momentum, endured a tricky opening 10 minutes, before asserting themselves but only after going behind. A cold biting swirling wind, with a mixture of hail and rain at times made it a bit of a battle at times, but Wednesday looked much improved on recent games but still less than convincing.

The defence will need new faces come january, more authority in the middle of MF and better service from wide to feed the strikers, a mobile forward is a must and we need to ship out some dead legs like jaden brown, Iorfa and jack hunt.

Still a long way off their best form but happy to have reached the half way stage two points off the top two. Two or three quality loans needed for the testing matches in February.

A former neighbour of mine and massive Wednesdayite now lives at Fleetwood and was in the Fleetwood end, while his brother came up from Sheffield and i believe was in the Wednesday end lol
