The above link to a Facebook page gives full details if the protest march this coming Saturday at 12 midday. 04/02/2022.

If you don't agree with this planned CAZ charge please do all you can to be there on the day.

Your support is needed now more than ever, let's get this nonsense stopped.

Imagine being so stupid that you attend a demo against clean air.

There are thousands of things to protest about. Being able to breathe isn’t one of them.

SCC have dropped some real clangers over the years.

So have any large organisations who spend large amounts of money, private or public sector.

Any public sector organisation run by politicians is going to make some spending decisions that some people think are a waste of money.

There is nothing ridiculous about wanting clean air.

Why don’t you want clean air?

Personally I along with many many people don't have any issues with the air quality as it is.

I find it hard to believe that 500 people a year are apparently dying in Sheffield from air pollution.if it's true that would be over 40 people a month dying from air pollutants in Sheffield.

Nothing to do with clean air and you know it. It's all about grabbing money from the gullible suckers who have  to move about the city to work or whatever. It's hard enough and expensive enough as it is, and there are few satisfactory alternatives.

It's also about being bossed about by an inefficient and incompetent gang of out of touch jobs-worths, who make incomprehensible decisions, rarely get it right, and never seem willing to fight for the city and its inhabitants, or even be on their side. In fact over the years they have systematically turned this once thriving city into a second rate shadow of its former self, now eclipsed by all the cities around it.

Would you prefer the Bristol solution to the clean air zone to have been brought in instead, whereby all cars pre-2006 and all diesel cars pre-2015 would be charged?  Be careful what you wish for.

The woman on BBC Radio Sheffield yesterday say she had tried relentlessly to get the CAZ cancelled and the government was having none of it, so the bit highlighted in red above is utter bull on your part. Unless you are claiming she was lying?

Where is your evidence that 500 people a year in Sheffield aren't dying due to poor air quality?
