Have you actually asked them for a breakdown?

You’re entitled to ask for it under the freedom of information act. Parking Services can run the report off very easily and there’s a handy contact form for you to fill in here

Let us know what they say.

Are you contending that self employed people should be able to flout any traffic regulation that doesn’t suit them?

Self employed people can add the fee onto their quotes much easily than anyone else can tbh.

Well, the emphasis was put on the supposedly poor air quality and doing something about it. I'd be interested to see what the change in air quality is now since the CAZ went live.

air quality within the CAZ was already below 40 overall before it started.

FOI already sent will advise the reply

not advocating anything what I expect to find is that those with dosh will not figure in the replies hence despite the lies from council they are hitting the so called poor element of this once great city when if they were forced to use a “carrot” instead of the “stick” they might just might reduce pollution but hey ho they want dosh!

The Council are doing what the government requires them to do, using the tools that the government has provided.

Do you seriously think that the government has mandated all the major cities to implement CAZ’s so that the local councils can make money from it?

I really don’t know how you can claim that. It’s about doing what the government requires, making money is nothing to do with it.
