Alright, why do 'lefties' want to do it?

I presume they just want to make peoples lives miserable, that's what it's normally about isn't it. Control and misery, dragging everyone down, it's all about what you can't do

perhaps they need to understand that 1st gear isn't at all environmentally friendly, and more accidents will happen because you'd be staring at the speedo instead of the road. a lot of cruise controls/limiters don't even go down to 20.

bristol are doing stuff too, it's a never ending foot on the neck of free will

On the grand scale of transport schemes, four or five mil doesn’t buy much.

Not when SCC will need to host several paid committee meetings and fact-finding excursions....

lefties want a 10mph speed limit in York now. ain't the modern world great.

Or, it was a York MP asking a parliamentary question, whether the government would require local councils across the country introduce 10mph restrictions in all residential areas.

I hope you mean 10mph there, otherwise you will be sending the conspiracy theorists into a right oul tizz. Be tin foil everywhere.
