The person replying to you can only tell you what they have been told.

If you want my advice, going in with an opening gambit of "you are lying" probably isn't going to get you anywhere. Simply a) refer them to the FOI, and b) refer them to the interview on the BBC Sounds website, and ask them why the responses differ. Keep it simple and polite to start.

I've seen the moronic emails the CAZ lot are sending in from the FB page (they post them to the page) and none of those are polite in the slightest.

Hmmm...

That's good advice!

We've seen on here the way some posters are practised at wriggling and squirming in order to deflect giving a straight answer to a straight question.

These people do that sort of thing for a living day in day out, and the ones who "definitely don't work for SCC" are the biggest offenders.

The best way is to be polite with them to encourage them to answer your questions...
... sooner or later they'll drop the proverbial clanger (as I've noticed several times on here) and then you'll have all the 'proof' that you need! :|

Only kidding, yes a car . Thanks

But if you had a small van with the same engine from your car which a lot of smaller vans do you would have to pay, No doubt a law suit on this one is going to happen soon.

Given that "all vans" arent in scope to be charged, the above is clearly b+llocks.

😂😂😂

No its not b+llocks at all ,you can't say to one person for example driving a Vauxhall estate car you can go in to the CAZ zone with no charge but the other person driving the Vauxhall car derived van you have to pay the CAZ charge even though they both have the same engines fitted emitting the same exhaust fumes.

If this stupid poorly executed CAZ Zone charge was all about clean air then both vehicles would be charged ,end of.
