Andrew Tate. What's Your Opinion?.

Brilliant, I literally pasted 'lonely and socially inept' in from Al Bundy's post.

Petulant = childish and sulky, this seems to be how incels are, and why they remain incels.

Talentless = they have nothing to offer to the world or to women. So they better get doing something about it, something from my list or from whatever list of meaningful things they can come up with.

The Star Wars bit was a bit of bait, that worked.

Yes, I nailed it.

Ah... fair do's - missed that, thanks for the heads-up.

But how do you know they have nothing to offer if no one ever actually speaks to them as people and just casts them down as useless without understanding them?

There are a truck load of reasons as to why they are like they. You say they 'should do something', what if they've tried to and they've been ridiculed by parents/teachers/society for trying, so they get to the point of 'why bother'?

And, speaking from experience, the issue they have with women could be down to bullying. I was bullied all through school - the lads it was one thing, it was more banter but, with the girls, they were cruel and they'd do it as a group. You'd try speaking to one of them and they'd tear you down in front of their mates, laughing and whispering.

I'm not saying that Tate is right or that it's right for young men to flock to him, i just feel that to combat him the world needs to actually listen to the plight of these young men and actively seek to tackle the issue at the root, rather than ridiculing them.

Because they seem to think 'women' owe them something, which they really really don't.

Society would best help these lonely socially inept young men by steering them away from Andrew Tate types, and towards things like education, group activity, volunteering, reading, practical skills, the countryside, sport.

The idea that some petulant, inward-looking and talentless star-wars fan will learn to become a 'Player' is ludicrous.

I rest my case.

I look forward to schools being concerned about onlyfans women who are selling their bodies for easy cash on the internet, as I've no doubt that's spreading a negative message to the young generation of girls.

I won't hold my breath.

It sounds like you've been at the sharp end, so what would have helped you? How would teachers, scout leaders, doctors, priests, fathers, friends and their fathers, have needed to do things differently?

I've told you what I think, and that's to do something, almost anything, from the long list of possibilities life offers. Expecting things on a plate or quick fixes is not going to work. If you harbour resentment towards women you need to see a doctor to access psychotherapy.

Well, luckily i had a family to turn to and who listened. I had interests that i was allowed to explore without ridicule, no matter how good or bad i was at them.

So, thankfully, i didn't turn into an 'incel' and am able to form positive relationships with women thanks to the positive female role models in my life. If i ever made a derogatory comment about women as a teen, my mum would talk to me about it and we'd discuss it like intelligent human beings.

These young men possibly don't have positve influences in their lives and to heap more negativity on them will only make it worse. If the world tells them they're nothing, then of course they're going to attach themselves to someone who says the opposite.

How are you going to find out if schools do or don't cover the pitfalls of commodifying your body like this? Have you studied the PSE guidance?

Top shelf porn mags have been on display to children for large stretches of the last 50 years, I don't remember any specific need to tell us it would be a bad idea to send in pictures.

The most worrying thing is how many of these models are being coerced into doing it - and that brings us back to Andrew Tate

most of the SW fans i know are perfectly 'normal'  everyday members of society who don't have any desire to shoot up a school etc.

Actually I think Star Wars fan may correlate with ‘lonely and socially inept’ (TM Al Bundy) and resonates with me for a couple of reasons.

I can only think of three SW fans amongst friends and family: One is a serial controller (and thus loser) of women who always blames the woman. One is a 30 odd year old monosyllabic virgin. One was morbidly obese and died in their early 50s.

Personally I was just the right age to be a SW fan, I queued for 3 hours at the age of 12 to see it, and came out thinking what a dull and empty experience compared to other SF films I’d seen.

Do you honestly think they do?

Comparing top shelf porn mags to internet onlyfans is just ridiculous.

Do you think young girls watching and reading about these soft porn women on the internet with onlyfans accounts claiming to earn thousands of pounds per month will lead them open for exploitation?

Why is nothing being said about this rather than the a few snippets from videos by Mr Tate, who in the main gives positive advice about bettering your life?
