Here's a recap

Me.... Did you go to the makapaka school of trolling?

You......Maybe.  As Makapaka isn’t a troll, I’d say yes.

So how could you go to makas school if he isn't a troll? Why would maka have a school of trolling?

Oh, so that's OK then?

It’s the only reason i could see why you would be annoyed with it.

two people go for a job - the right person get the job - what’s the problem?

I presume you’re annoyed that no one has to justify the white person getting the job?

That would suggest there’s never been a problem with non-white people being restricted in getting jobs - but we know that’s not true.

so it’s not anti white is it?

is it more paperwork for the sake of it ? I don’t know - but maybe they’re just doing their best to make sure.

id like to think it wouldn’t be even talked about - but then you read this thread and realise people read a daily mail article and make it into a race issue.

so the daily mail did win after all.

Wow. That's some mental gymnastics you did there. I'm impressed 👏

But back to reality....

If true then when a white candidate is chosen, the panel chairman must write a report explaining why they were ‘more suitable’ for the role. It does not apply when a non white person is selected.

Clearly discriminatory whether you choose to admit it or not 👍

Simply complying with legislation regarding discrimination in recruitment and following best practise in giving positive feedback to unsuccesful candidates by the look of it. Hardly new.
