But ,only if it's within 15 minutes

Melthebell,

I'm a pensioner and my personal transport is a folding bike.

I do not own a car anymore-I scrapped it.

I damn well miss it.

When I did drive ,I loved to jump in my car and drive to: Scotland,

Wales and the Lake District and go camping and climbing in the mountains.-a motor vehicle can be a very liberating force in ones life.

Sheffield is not an easy riding area. Most days I

ascend the "Col-de-Myrtle Road" .

But , the virtual signaling anti-car ,15 Minute City numpties  get  right on my pip.

Ads36,

I do not mean to offend you.My apology to you.

I do think that the 15 Minute City looks attractive on The World Economic Forum Web page. But I have this sinking feeling  the 15 Minutet City will degenerate into a Le  Corbusier  dystopian Blade Runner nightmare.

HeHasRisen.

There's nowt wrong with  a holiday' So long as you haven't exceeded your motoring social credits.

"We are off,we are off. We  are off in a motorcar .  60 coppers are after us and we don't know where we are".

A little song we sang as kids in the car and drove mum and dad insane.

OH ,the good old days of happy motoring and the sprawling

Metropolis.
