15 Minute Zones And Climate Lockdowns Explained.

Recommended Posts

Oxford is trialling a new scheme where the city will be divided up into 6 zones. Each zone equates to aproximately 15 minutes travel time. You are expected to remain within your own zone, but may be permitted to travel in other zones for certain reasons a specified number of times. Should you exceed the specified number of times you will be fined.

It's due to start in 2024.

It will be monitored electronically using face and number plate recognition etc. High tech stuff. Fines will be in the region of £100 per breach of the rules.

It's a traffic calming scheme... a 4-week trial that clearly Katie Hopkins has failed to understand.

No you failed to understand ... even socialists wouldn't be stupid enough to spend all that effort and money on a 4 week trial

number plate yes, face recognition doubt it.......... but that's creeping in elsewhere without the slightest bit of debate or oversight. Wave to the camera next time you go shopping

Will it can't be that vitally important

lot of words there, you could have put maybe 3 into a search engine instead if you are not aware of what is happening around you. Similar is happening in Canterbury and London (slightly different)

Failed to read it properly...

...the initial consultation lasts 4 weeks, the trial and ongoing consultation is for six months.

It's little more than a glorified congestion charge, that stands zero chance of being fully implemented without the agreement of the local population.

Only operates between 7am to 7pm.

Clearly, world ending stuff.

...rather than spunking it away for nothing? :suspect:

Well, it doesn't tally with the "end of the free world" narrative pushed by Hobbs, sure.

So, you've got nowt, other than a desperate, fact free faux outrage...

...who knew? :hihi:

Notice the increase in motorist driving with the sun visor down, it's already happening.

I don't know if you've watched the original poster's video, but much as I dislike Katie Hopkins she explains it rather well, including how it will be gradually foisted on the population incrementally to break down their resistance into benign acceptance of another loss of our freedoms.

The outrage should be anything but faux, but no doubt, as with the covid lockdown, people can be hoodwinked into accepting anything.

And now the authorities know it, and how to do it.

Between you and me Anna I only posted the KH version because I was curious if the reactions would be to the content or the messenger. I was right but it's been hilarious watching all the pearl clutching 😁

It's not "foisted" on anyone, there's an issue that must be solved. There's a trail, and public consultation.

Out of interest, what would you do to solve the associated problems?

Where was this awareness when you got hoodwinked into voting for Brexit?

You literally supported and voted for the biggest roll back of rights and freedoms for UK citizens, in history! :loopy:

So you'll forgive me for not getting all upset about a publicly consulted trail of a traffic/congestion scheme based on a YouTube rant from some mentally challenged wing-nutt, who literally makes her living from hoodwinking people! :?
