I’ve got a better idea. We should move all of winter to the summer.

 

Think about it. No more dark evenings. It would be much warmer so we would all save on heating. And we could play cricket all year round.

 

It is time that we made full use of our Brexit freedoms and stopped kowtowing to Brussels with their stupid idea of winter in winter. Winter in summer is the British way.

Move to Australia if you want Christmas holidays in the summer. Christianity is still the official religion of the UK.  We've seen enough nonsense where some councils call it winter holidays in order not to offend  non Christians.

No. We want a holiday in the middle of winter because it's dark and cold and people want something to cheer themselves up. As others on the thread have noted, it's not really a Christian thing anyway. They are just the latest group to have co-opted the idea to promote their religion.
