He is a saint the masses declare ,  The crowds are kneeling and wailing to their God to greet the old man into heaven a heaven that has been invented by the very grandier surrounding the scene in this centre of extravaganza overlooking the spectacle.

 

Mean while in parts of. Africa, Asia , India , among other. So called third World Countries people some of them who have been indoctrinated into this World of wealth are dieing through lack of the very basics needed to a basic life where food and a clean water supply are absent, 

 

In Europe we have a War among us once again , The leaders of the main religious fraternity in those Countries pray for victory ,asking their Gods for help in killing of each of the protagonists.

Some thing just does not weigh up among all the Splendour and gun fire .

"The World is not fair"

This has been said for decades as some sort of excuse for the vast disparity of wealth. much of it caused by conquest and empire building. No attempt to fix it.

 

Well it's going to come back to bite us once and for all. We've always been on the winning team, but no more. Our current problems are a lot to do with our slow slide into poverty as other countries ascend. Italy once ruled the world, as did Greece. Look at them now and see our future.

 

However it's not just about countries. There is more wealth sloshing about but in fewer hands than ever before. Every country however poor has millionaires, several have billionaires which makes the gap between rich and poor even more extreme. Some of these billionaires have more money than entire countries put together. 

 

It's about time we started fixing the gap and levelling up across nations so everyone at least has the basics; food, clean water, shelter, education, and health care.

And so much of that wealth is in the Vatican City A place that supposedly opens its arms to the poor and  needy while displaying extravagance. Beyond belief.

Exactly. Gives religion a bad name. No wonder people have lost faith in it.
