As you point out, kept misrepresenting what he said, echoing back a distorted cherry picked version, clearly designed to make him look bad; totally back fired and the dynamic was patently obvious. My fave bit was when he turned things around on her, and subtly highlighted her hypocrisy, she was doing the very thing she was castigating him for.
