When a crime is committed that it isn't a spur of the moment act driven by emotion but a preplanned thought out enterprise it's always a good idea to look at who benefited.

Lyndon Baines Johnson would never have become President except for that assassination. JFK would have won another term and his brother Bobby possibly have been the Democrats nomination for the Presidential election after that.

Johnson was a Texan and represented the state for many years as a Congressman. He knew all the main players in Texas and was known to be ruthless.

Obviously, it could have been entirely coincidental that JFK was killed in Texas and that the person that allegedly killed him was shot dead before he could be questioned by the authorities. Convenient though wasn't it?

The last documentary I saw it suggests that Oswald shot the first couple of shots and a drunk Secret Service operative, jumping on the fenders, accidentally shot him with the pump action shot gun!  Some bodyguard!
