Any Bose Shops Around

Recommended Posts

Dont think so, but maybe Richer Sounds sell stuff like that, so look there.

There website suggests they dont have any stand alone shops in Yorkshire anymore, oddly enough it is saying there is a "branch" within Currys at Drakehouse Retail Park.

Anyone know if there is a Bose shop in or around Sheffield these days.

The one t Meadowhall seems to have closed down.

Also I am looking for a single speaker on a stand to play music via bluetooth from my phone and does anyone recommend one mainly Bose or something to the same quality

Loads of Bluetooth speakers of a quality equal to or higher than Bose these days, as single or in pairs. KEF, Devialet, B&O, Naim…

I’d suggest one of two things: check some Bluetooth speakers’ reviews in specialist press/on their websites (What HiFi, Stuff, T3), particularly awarded ones ; get yourself to Richer Sounds and ask for a demo.

For contrast, I like my sound ‘fuller’, so I sometimes use a full-size vintage speaker (Altec Lansing 505, sometimes using pair for stereo) with a ‘home-improved’ mini portable Bluetooth amplifier (‘The Vamp’, very little-known British outfit/product, which I’ve up-specc’d for power and battery capacity, http://www.thevamp.co.uk) 😊
