I would stick to the seat belt story.

Forgot to mention, his good friend, the party chairman (former chancellor) trying to rob the taxman of a few million but he sticks by him.

Pity Labour aren't very good at coming up with catchy soundbites to sum it up and then repeat ad infinitum until it lodges in the public memory for ever....

Labour aren't very good at anything .. see Wales.

 

It's odd that the lefties don't like high taxes now, after spending a lifetime asking for higher public spending and higher wages for the public sector. Perhaps they struggle to connect the two things
