What is a bit worrying is if the staff have been told not to accept screenshots ?

Also, on the actual Ticketmaster page there is a blue line moving from one end of the the bar codes to the other all the time, one wonders if they have put that on there to make screen shots problematic ?

I do not understand why they are so paranoid about people taking screenshots anyway.

A few years ago ticketmaster made announcements about rotating barcodes that change every 30-60 seconds.

I suspect not all door staff will be jobsworths and stick to that, but even if that's true it's unnecessary extra stress.

But if they are inflexible about it how are you supposed to attend a City Hall event if you do not have a smartphone or your smartphone is U/S ?

I honestly hadn't seen that before commenting this morning. So there we are then, problem solved.

We went to the City Hall tonight and it was confirmed to us you can get in without a smart phone. All you need is your booking number and ID, you go to the box office, indeed we saw a queue there doing just that.

 

* Went to Halle Orchestra plays  James Bond themes, the second time we've seen that show. And fantastic it was too, esp We Have All The Time In The World (Louis Armstrong from On Her Majesty's Secret Service), it's almost worth going just for that one song, fabulous.
