I can't imagine there'd be a human rights issue with "Get a job with the same wages and taxation as if you were a citizen". On the other hand, "Forced labour for lower wages that the locals would get" I can see being a problem.
bassett one
if they really want to come to england ,instead of fancy hotels and spending money,as them to work at a normal wage until there status is sorted,if not train for other skills ect,if this cant be done with them all as in young mums ,so be it ,but most seem young fit men, also our job centres need to find jobs suitable for people and if not retrain them,we cannot keep paying out for people to stop at home can we.but to ask pensioners to work is fine if they wish to but i cannot see many doing it .plus if not anyone got any ideas about getting labourers for farms ect, plus shop workers as general work.its no good ploughing food into the ground, its madness, possibly use a few hundred low grade prisoners,as in low crime, short sentences and they could possibly get work from it when they get out Edited January 30, 2023 by bassett one

Maybe people could up their entire families from the family home and local schools etc. and go live in a caravan for a few weeks and just travel round where workers are required? Perhaps for low grade prisoners we could get them to organise their own logistical operations and get themselves safely to work for 5am and then back to their cells for 9pm... no problems at all I'm sure of that... Rural, regular, dependable public transport will be very helpful with regards this. Maybe even pack themselves up with snap for lunch and self appoint team leaders to coordinate everything. bassett one
well we used to have workers from abroad ,before brexit and they used caravans provided,so you think lets import everything , and plough our quality food into the ground or use as compost ,we have lots of people unemployed and all these boat people,if not a good idea where do we fill these jobs while paying the boat and unemployed cash to stay at home, its not just farms ,its shops, labour is needed on building sites ect,ect we need workers

If we have to subsidise these people they may as well help out where cheap labour is required. They owe us rather than vice versa.
