I've been following this since it became 'serious' - Nicola Bulley, a 45yr old mother of two, apparently no reason to just disappear, who was on a walk after dropping kids to school

 Also had a work team call so she was in usual spirits.

 

Her dog and Mobile phone were found near a bench- where she likely had a call.

 

She's not been seen since.

 

Possible abduction? 

Has she jumped into the river for reasons unknown and planned to die?

 

Police now keeping an open mind.

She loved her children and her dog no signs of husband trouble I doubt she jumped the only reason I could see was her dog being in the water but he was dry when found but maybe slipped I don’t think there’s good news for this young woman and her family.

Yeah, the dog was dry and loose, because the harness was near the bench.

 

The water is marked as being deep and believed to be around 14ft.

 

So, it's possible she fell in/slipped and carried down stream.

 

I also think the news will not be good, if she is in that water then no hope now.

It sounds as though the Police are in the process of searching the water. 

 

The unknown must be awful for the family and friends.

I saw this story on the news last night. Specialist search teams are searching the river but I think the lady has been abducted.  It would be nice if there was a happy ending to this story and she was found safe and well.

I hope not but it's what I have been thinking too- may be an opportunist who saw her alone, isolated area and took advantage.

Difficult to see how she'd be abducted, the only road to the area is through a gated static home park, the area is cut off on 3 sides by the river and I don't think there's a bridge in the area. Surely CCTV has been followed up on for any unusual vehicle going through the gated park. I'm afraid it may be a tragic fall into the river.

I’ve just been watching it on the news again just now and is also front page news in The Daily Mail. I’ve never known it to be as dangerous as this for women of all ages.What is causing all this ? Years ago women could go anywhere for a walk without fear or accidents. They always say that fact is more intriguing than fiction but in this case I just feel so sorry for her husband and children.

Also the actor who was hiking abroad  has still not been found. Very worrying for these peoples relatives.
