Most of us would of took a point today. If Smith had done better with his chance to put us 3 up that would of been it. Aslong as we follow this up with 3 points next game I'll not be complaining.

If we’d have gone in 2up half time we’d have won,ref gave them a free kick which wasn’t and he couldn’t have placed it better but 4 points from 1st and 3rd will do me.

Good day out and a strong Owls following, great first half and if Smith had made it 0-3 when he really should have done it would have been game over, good penalty save from Dawson who's really making the GK shirt his own, two needless (and dubious) free kicks got Ipswich back in it and we were clinging on a little second half, 4 points from the two games is a good haul though and we need to win the next two at home.

The last two league games-Plymouth and Ipswich- over 62,000 watching the Owls. OK they were lucrative games but how many outside the Premier can say that ?

Game of two halves, Ipswich looked allover the shop defensively and struggled to get out of Wednesday high press in the first 30 mins, a running battle between Burns and Johnson that the ref didnt get a grip of, 2 really nasty challenges on Johnson, but cant see how a lino the opposite side of the pitch sees a penalty, burns was grabbing johnson prior to where he shrugs him off, they got a foothold in the game right on HT when Broadhead cleverly bought a free kick after a clumsy tackle, but hes tucked it away superbly, the wall just didnt jump high enough. We really should have gone in 3 up but Smiths effort lacked conviction and hes let the keeper off.

The equaliser  came from another silly free kick and the lads shot deflects off an Owls player and over a helpless Dawson, who had his busiest afternoon of the season so far making some good stops as well as the penalty save.Wednesday just slowed the pace down and let Ipswich press, but got a great chance to nick the points when Flint latched onto his own headed rebound, but blazed over with the top corner gaping. Fair result and a very decent game.
