Full Moon
Thinking of moving to Norton area and find the St James Church is a very old parish church. I know some properties fall within an ancient parish where the property owner could be required to contribute toward the church repair. This is a overriding interest. Do people live in Norton area is required to do this? Any information will be appreciated. Thank you for reading

Records are kept at the Record Offices of theses places.
Norbert
As a side note, there is mention of a Ley-Line that runs from Norton St James church to Beauchief Abbey, the line that goes through the Bell Barrow Mound in Graves Park and if extended east it goes through Anston St James church as well, all three ecclesiastical buildings were built around the same time. Whimsical and meaningless in all probability.
