Why Is Unilever Still Operating In Russia

Recommended Posts

The West is supposed to be enforcing sanctions against Russia because we are supporting the Ukrainians with their war against the Russian attempted invasion and yet we have a Western Company - Uniler employering 30,000 Russians supplying every cosmetic and household items to the Russian people. If Unilever stopped providing these household items to everyday Russians who are indifferent to their war with Ukraine (Due to the propagander of the Russian dictatorship), they may start to feel some hardship and question their leaders

Does anybody else agree

Lets get Unilever out of Russia!

They are making Mega Millions in the West - Why are they still in Russia?.

Drop Hein Schumacher, CEO of Unilever an email.  He'll probably be able to help you out.

If Unilever stopped trading in Russia then the Russian government would just seize their assets.  Unilever does not sell weapons of war and give thousands of Russian citizens a job.  It is the normal working Russian citizen who will suffer if Unilever abandoned their operations in Russia.

They may not sell weapons to Russia but their taxes will help to make and buy them.

It will be because that would negatively effect some uk shareholders.

Taxes from the sale of Russian gas and oil is funding the weapons for the Russian army.  if the West stopped buying all Russian gas and oil then your point would be more valid.
