It's quite amusing how you've gone from claiming their was no intention whatsoever to create these things to now following the "party line" that it's for the good of everyone. Laughable.

Erm. What has actually happened is that back in February, when this was discussed, the minutes from the council committee were the only place anyone could find anything that even mentioned 15 min cities in connection with Sheffield.

 

Now it’s been mentioned again in some publicity blurb around a funding bid.

 

Nowhere is anyone “selling” anything.

 

Again, for the umpteenth time, 15 min cities is a planning concept. It isn’t adopted policy in Sheffield and all that anyone has done is say that it’s a generally good thing ( in their view) and that some of the work being done in Sheffield supports that concept. The Future High St scheme also supports the “ambition” to be one.

No no no, mate. It will mean we all have to move into communal blocks and we won't be allowed on motorways. Apparently we can't say this won't happen because it's not been stated it won't. #OrgangrinderLogic

You missed out the bit where well have to wear explosive collars which detonate if we cross into another zone....
