Not seen it proposed anywhere.

Of course it won't be proposed it will be quietly put added at some stage, I notice the price of using EV rapid charging points is being more than doubled, nothing like promoting "green alternatives", laughable.

If I'm going beyond a reasonable walking distance, I do that now - can't see any reason for that to change. Unless of course you think 'they' are going to restrict our access to public transport.

As will road pricing. I see a time where we will literally pay to drive by the mile. That's what all these ULEZ and CAZ are about. When almost everyone has a compliant vehicle,  everyone will be charged but by the mile.

No. What I mean is you'll only travel distances outside your zone when public transport is running. You go by their timetable.
