Whats Happening In Guardian Land Today

This is well worth reading. The Guardian editorial about the Illegal Migration Bill. It should make uncomfortable reading for Sue Ellen’s cheerleaders. Take your pick, Sunak, or Churchill.

More codswallop.

Where were the guardian when the BBC was criticising Qatar about their policies?   It was ok then was it?  Loved the beeb back then.

Political and cultural warfare in the United Kingdom has now breached the sanctum of its favourite game, one of the last few havens of national unity.!!!!    Oh the drama!!!  Have they forgot about all the other political protests that have engulfed the game?

😂😂😂😂

Both the Match of the Day and Attenborough battles demonstrate the shrinking of public space in Britain deemed to be truly apolitical, and raises questions of whether anything is truly sacred, or whether Strictly Come Dancing or the Great British Bake Off will become the next battlefields.

😂😂😂😂😂

So, you loved it when Gary was being honest about Qatar, not so much when being honest about the UK gov.

Nonsensical claims that you have already undermined above.

Their obsession with people's race is really quite sick.  What's their problem?

Imagine being Ruth Carter reading that!! Rather than focusing on my professional achievements they are more interested in what colour I am!!  How incredibly condescending.

Just when you thought it was safe to enjoy a pint, without worrying about COVID,  fossil fuels, or the War, the inflation Crisis, the Health Care Crisis, the National Debt Crisis, the Immigration Crisis, they come along with another "deadly" Crisis.  :)

This one is so bad they had to coin a new word for it!

The Guardian

Scientists warn of ‘phosphogeddon’ as critical fertiliser shortages loom

Excessive use of phosphorus is depleting reserves vital to global food production, while also adding to the climate crisis

"Our planet faces “phosphogeddon”, scientists have warned. They fear our misuse of phosphorus could lead to deadly shortages of fertilisers that would disrupt global food production.
