Never heard of that one,

They posted a few years ago and caused much amusement with their reported scenarios.

I suppose they could have been called a troll but made and persisted with some amazing posts.

Be charitable Magilla, the humidity level as been very high today in the Dominican Republic.

The Aussies refer to it as ‘going troppo’.

Lol

Indeed, it's that time of year. Soon it will be "rainy season" (otherwise known as HURRICANE SEASON everywhere but here).  Comes every year,

But DR is not a culture of pearl clutching telly watchers. TV is for entertainment, music and sports, and outside the couple of main cities newspapers don't exist.

They are busy living productive lives, not reading about what others are doing!  :)

Conversations here are not about government, wars, celebrities Brexit, Boris, Trump or Biden, only local community issues that actually affect their daily lives. The population is united, not divided, and trouble makers are given short shrift, by the local cops. Haul 'em off to jail for the night, and let them explain and pay their fines in the morning!

Most petty crime settled in a day, not years. Not much work for lawyers. Tough love, but it's what has kept streets safe for the public for thousands of years.

So I manage to feed my life long interest in politics, online, in the dark of night! (2.30 am here right now)  :)

But I'm getting ready to chuck that too.

Am missing the vegan knitting pattern supplement..................

Stephen West is a fabulous designer.

And Kaffe Fassett.  Though he's more textile artist.

In contrast, Tom Daley published a book of knitting and crochet patterns which were apparently designed and written by two accomplished, professional women - Erika Knight and  Arabella Harris - who've been knitters and designers for decades and whose role is the book, as far as I can tell, is only mentioned briefly in the acknowledgements.

If the UK found a cure for cancer and solved world peace the bitter children at the Guardian would find space to highlight a problem with it.

They must be up all night searching for stuff to bash the UK for.

Pathetic.

dont read it then, seems theres only you reading it, just so you can whinge at them whinging
