What else do you have open/running on the Chromebook? If you have number of different applications running, those machines struggle to cope,they are only designed for light use. I'm not on a Chromebook, seeing as I spend most of my time at my Parents, I'm on an Ubuntu 22.04 powered Linux box. The crashing in Chrome browser also happens here. The crashing in Chrome browser also happens here. OK, sorry for the assumption. I can't explain that then - - I have 11 tabs on my Linux box, and no problem with any of them - including SF.
