Have The French Got The Right Idea?

I despise Starmer, for disenfranchising a whole host of Labour supporters by removing all the socialists from a Socialist party. It's the socialists who recognise the hardships that people are suffering.

I like Andy Burnham, but he may well have been one of the MPs who was ejected from the Party  if he had still been an MP.  He is currently Mayor of greater Manchester.

Will he be standing for Parliament at the next election?

He’s biding his time .

That is a fair point.  They normally state  variable speed cameras are being used.  I honestly do not think someone like Andy Burnham would have drove at the speed recorded if he had seen information about the lower speed in operation.  The instinct reaction is to hit the brake pedal.

I still find it a little unbelievable - a reduction of the limit to 40mph suggests quite extensive works, and as I have said, even if he missed the roadside indications, the limit is on the overhead gantries in big flashing yellow numbers.

But he is one of the 'special people', so maybe he didn't think the rules applied to him?

Labour has been most succesful when its been in the centre

The more left you take the party the less votes they get

Labour and his Corbynistas stole the party from the working classes so the working classes voted Tory

Anyway....if you want to be socialist then vote for the SWP

Imagine what it would be like on here if a Tory had done it.

The Tories are all too busy signing up to work for fictitious firms.

Absolutely nothing to do with the contravention of speed limits.

Which has nothing to do with riots in France.

Your post has nothing to do with anything really. As is often the case.

If you want a centrist party vote Lib Dem.

The Labour party was created to fight for the rights and wellbeing of the working class - which includes most working people. The Corbynistas stole nothing, they tried to defend the people from 13 years of Tory Austerity and 40 years of Thatcherism.

The world has changed markedly since the days of Blair's Labour. The Tories have swung ever nearer far Right. We can see the results in the chaos and disadvantage all around. It can only be corrected by a swing to the Left to even things up and restore the balance. Corbyn understood this. Starmer does not. He is a Tory in all but name.

Agreed, but I wasn't the one who diverted the topic.

BTW - I like your weak attempt at trying to shut down any  adverse comments on politicians on 'your' side of the spectrum.
