The Parliamentarians demolished Sheffield Castle when the Royalists would have protected it, a city the size of Sheffield could have benefited from the history attached to it’s ancient castle. Instead of listening to people and doing something about their concerns, the Tory government have been quietly dismantling our rights to protest, because they know there is deep seated resentment fermenting in the population.
