Padders
I've recently bought a Sundial, The clocks go forward tonight, and I'm wondering how do I reset my sundial. I'm not very clever with technology, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Longcol
Rotate it 30 degrees anti-clockwise - ie move I to where XII is currently (I think). Or leave it be - it'll be reyt agin in October.

But I like to do things proper.

Midday today in Sheffield as shown by the shortest shadow on your sundial will be 13:11 BST or railway time, I'd wait till midday(BST)and take the batteries out and replace. Switch the mains on and off will reset the cooker, microwave. It does not change the time for you but the flashing numbers will irritate you so much... Axe
When I erected my sundial I made the non conventional choice to set it to British summertime. It is concreted in the ground so there is no option for it to be changed to GMT when the clocks go back. It made sense to me for the sundial to display the correct local time during the months of the year which have more daylight.
Meltman
As the clocks have gone forward you need to move your sundial one house to the right...your neighbour will understand! 1
