You need to give this up. Your lack of understanding is a bit embarrassing.

In terms of the self harm which you were so concerned about a few posts ago, teachers are in a perfect position to spot the signs when pupils engage in it. Equally, they are in a good place to spot the signs of abuse from others.

Then they are the perfect people to help to engage other agencies as appropriate.

You need to sort that teacher hate of yours out. Maybe stick to posting pornography.

Have a nice day!  :)

I could've sworn there were more posts...

I would argue that the lines between 'mental health' and building mental resilience are being blurred and children don't know how to handle the world (Hell, i'm 41 and i still struggle at times!).

Not everything is a mental health issue... i think we just need to start promoting learning to deal with disappointment, failure and adversity before we look to pump kids full of drugs or start lopping off body parts.

"The global tattoo removal market size was $4.34 billion in 2021".

Laser Tattoo Removal: A Booming Industry

"Laser tattoo removal is now one of the fastest growing sectors in the cosmetic laser industry due to several recent technological breakthroughs".

Genital mutilation surgery reversal is a little more difficult, for those who might want to change their mind after they reach maturity.

Maybe they could sue their gender affirming advocate teachers?

The problem for those de-transitioning is that they are being silenced by the activists and extreme Left media where even those who have gone through the full transition are called transphobic for attempting to discuss and publicise their experiences.

People like Blair White (M to F trans) has been shouted down for her views on the trans cult, despite fully transitioning. I will gladly call BW 'her' because she has fully transitioned and is what I see as the true embodiment of what trans is - actually transitioning - as opposed to these trans 'women' who are effectively men in a dress/swimsuit.

What qualifies "teachers" to advise children on medical, mental health and surgical issues?

Especially when they are more prone to mental health issues than the average child!

The Guardian

Teacher sick days soar as poor conditions take toll on mental health

"Teachers have spent at least 1.5 million days off work owing to stress and mental health issues, new figures have revealed, amid continued concerns over the increasing pressures they are facing in the classroom".

So if your Orthopaedic surgeon had his foot in a cast because he'd broken one of his tarsals, you'd no doubt say well what sort of orthopaedic surgeon is he if he's broken one of his bones

If my kid I needed an orthopaedic surgeon, I wouldn't suggest she have a "private chat" with her math teacher!  :)

Sure, but you might go to your GP first.

Teachers aren't expected to be experts in the field of mental heath (unless they also practice as a counsellor or some allied profession); however, they do know the children in their care, and can spot any behavioural changes or other signs to be concerned about. Which puts them at a distinct advantage over a psychiatrist who doesn't know their patients before a referral was made to him.

To each his own expert!  :)

Depends who you ask

If you ask Chekhov its Covid Lockdowns.

If you ask Abs its Sats being too hard.

If you ask transphobes its not knowing what gender they are.

In what way?

Are you suggesting that children are not confused about their gender?

Why should they be?

I was never confused about mine and,  out of the many hundreds / thousands of kids I knew,  I didn't know a single one who was,

Not denying that there were any but they must have been few and far between.

Just all this woke carry on that's bringing it all to the fore.

We probably didn't know we were upset at things at all,  until someone told us we were, and how difficult life is.

Childhood was an adventure and a dream until computers etc came along and said,  don't think for yourself.
