Irene Swaine
I wonder what Bradley and Barney Walsh will think of Attercliffe...oh the glamour. I hope the BBC are issuing them with stab proof vests. Lol.

Also, why would they aimlessly be wandering around Attercliffe before and after filming? What an odd suggestion. One of the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment gameshows ever, Gladiators will be returning to TV in its brand new home on the BBC " And people do spend time in the place they work. They will probably bring security with them but still, Attercliffe doesn't scream showbusiness. If you hang around the bars in Shepherd's Bush or up at Media City in Manchester, you will likely see many TV presenters having lunch or unwinding with drinks after the show. ITV issues membership to every presenter to nearby Soho House club, for example.

And comparing Attercliffe to Media City is absurd, so not worthy of any further comment. Edited May 11, 2023 by HeHasRisen

The production company are a third party contractor who sell the rights to the show to the channel and are contracted to produce it on the channel's behalf, just like Amey are contracted to work on behalf of Sheffield City Council. It's not at all absurd to refer to the BBC when talking about this production. Like it or not, Attercliffe is Walsh & Son's new place of work. They will be spending a lot of time up there. They don't just jet in and do a broadcast and jet off. There are rehearsals, pre-records, script meetings, make up and hair, microphone fittings and several publicity engagements that will be held there. They may well be leasing a flat near by while working on the show.
