Judging from what I hear from my relatives in the U.K. there will be much partying and "toasting".

 

Across the U.K. many groups have organized special social events, much of which does involve a fair amount of volunteerism.

 

Where I live, there's no interest among the locals, who are not telly watchers anyway, and no interest even amongst ex pats, for obvious reasons.

 

But there is a "British" pub not too far away, so I might slide by and take a look, although they sell only local beer.

 

It's not a perfect paradise here. No Guinness!  :)

A dewy morning in Heeley Green , Sun peeping through disappearing  over night rain clouds , A smell of spring in the air while on thi way tut paper shop for a bar of five boys .

I know tha misses it , we all do .

The good and great are all being seen on TV , They are all best pals wi Charley boy , only Rolph Harris and Jimmy Savile missing ( among others ) .

An early start for the hating anything British racist melts at the guardian.

 

Getting their made in Bangladeshi knickers in twist that have been made by modern slaves earning 3p an hour......but don't mention that....in a right old twist already..

 

I bet their collective circle jerk at any rain, protest or mishap today is in full flow!!

 

Imagine being that sad and miserable!!
