Is it bringing people together if loads of people don't want it?

Yes because there are still people that will celebrate, watch, visit the UK for it all.

Seems to be a number that don't want it to happen or not bothered about it so I'm assuming you'll not be having the day off work as a bank holiday?

Why would you assume that? I'm paying for the thing, I'll have something back in return.

I wouldn't like to be married again,  not easy to get out of it,  don't be like some men with difficult relationships who pass themselves off as single though it would get even more complicated.

Good morning Al

👍

I just dont understand rich men getting married

As soon as you say i do shes entitled to half of everything

And pre-nups are just toilet paper these days

Its better to live in sin so you can just walk away if things dont work out

And whatever you have is yours and whatever she has is hers

I agree up to a point,  it works better for men as they can go from woman to woman without any fall back,  but some women can't because they are judged to be 'easy' - but financially that's ok.

What has the day off work got to do with it?

Neither the government nor the king is paying for it.  Just another tax on your employer whilst the government takes the credit.

The public are the ones who are paying for the coronation anyway.  Do you think Charles is paying ??????

Enjoy the coronation if that's the kind of thing you like but,  don't be daft enough to think that anyone's giving the public anything.

And don't be daft enough to try to con the rest of us.

The extra Bank Holiday is a boost for the tourism and hospitality industry.  Ideally it would have been better in another month because there will be more Bank Holiday Mondays in May this year than normal working Mondays.
