Fully agree but I was alluding to the general stress and fatigue of the whole Coronation event including the preparations beforehand.

Our King is in his 70s and many of those attending are not in their youth. It will be a spectacle watching two Geriatics lording it over the poor subservient peasants. What happened to the sixth egg, did he have it for breakfast before turning up to register his point of view? Also. given the price of eggs these days he's obviously got more money than sense. I may be a republican but that type of thing is ridiculous, where was John Prescott when he was needed?

Apparently he still had it in his pocket all the time he was in custody, in spite of being searched etc. He was quite proud of the fact. Good job it wasn't a hand grenade...

People using food banks , no housing for millions , fuel , heating and food no longer affordable for those at the bottom of our society . All this and the show must go on so as to show the World what a great upstanding life we have in the UK . Most of the country is looking forward to a thoroughly enjoyable weekend of national pride, reflection, and a little good old-fashioned jingoism. Of course, the lefty anti-royals won’t like that, but we should hardly blame a national institution like the monarchy for the bad life decisions others make which leave them needing food banks. (On that point, isn’t it funny that most of the ‘poor’ who attend food banks seem to be covered in a resplendent - and doubtless costly - range of tattoos and seem all to have the obligatory fag-in-gob (the cost of which a decent human being would instead have spent on food)).

Anna B
Cost of Coronation is quoted as being £100 million. Wow, that's going to ruffle a few feathers. Just remember that next time government says it can't afford to fund something useful....
