Savile wasn't a proven sexual pervert either, are you saying that that makes him innocent?  FBI files claim that Mountbatten was a pervert and young boys were his weakness, why would they make that up? Other people, including members of the establishment are on record as saying the same thing, why would they make it up?

If you wish to claim that Mountbatten, uncle to Prince Phillip and a cousin of the queen  (  the queen and Philip were cousins ) was innocent then presumably you also believe that Savile was innocent also?

Do you think Savile was innocent?

In a court of law , yes .

And in reality?

In the actual world in which we live and where the victims suffered appalling life changing experiences you believe that in some way Mountbatten and Savile shouldn't be thought of with contempt because they died before they could be brought to justice?

If you don't believe that, then what exactly was the point of raising the ' court of law ' issue? Everyone knows they didn't get to court, what's your point?

It’s easy to throw accusations at someone who can’t defend themselves.

Do us both a favour mate if you're really that obtuse it would be best if we ignore each other from now on. Your unasked for otiose advice is also somewhat tedious. Goodnight.

People love a party, a celebration, it brings together people of good will, and they have always found something to celebrate. Birthdays, weddings, even Funerals

From Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament to the Easter Egg Bunny  (Joe Biden's usher :)  )

Folks who celebrate St Paddy's Day at the local pub, are not endorsing the sickening IRA bombings, nor are folks celebrating Mass on Sundays celebrating the systemic paedophilia that has alway been, and still is entrenched in the Catholic Church.

Likewise the folks who celebrate the Royals various shindigs, are not showing approval of Henry V111's beheading of his missus's, Edwards's  hammering of the Scots, or Catholic Bloody Mary, who used to burn Protestants at the Stake.

Folks that celebrate Gay Pride Day won't all agree that a fat hairy tranny or drag queen giving a lap dance to a school child is a good thing!

My advice to the haters out there, is to get a real life, find a more productive hobby, and try to heal your tortured soul.

What a wonderful World this could be!
